Their team will work as part of the Originals Publicity team to formulate and implement strategy across META for the growing slate of Netflix global and local original content.
It's the chance to be part of changing the entertainment landscape across the globe and to seize the opportunity to take different approaches in managing and executing promotional and publicity campaigns.

The Director will work alongside other local leaders to interpret business opportunity & challenges across the region. They will be responsible for building an overarching publicity strategy across the territory, including staffing, hiring, prioritisation & direction. Native Arabic language skills are a must.
They will handle the Middle East and oversee a team of publicity managers for Turkey & Israel and Africa. They report into the Vice President of Originals Publicity - EMEA. As their team expands, they will drive innovative & locally relevant publicity campaigns for our originals to drive our business across the region, including (but not limited to) 'hands on' work in the UAE, KSA & Egypt. They will lead their team to independently formulate and drive creative and executable ideas, communicating priorities and present clear goals to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will use sound judgement to make wise decisions, think strategically and drive their team members to do the same.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and understand the market. They will also not be afraid to challenge prevailing assumptions when warranted, and suggest better approaches; they will make tough decisions without agonizing and will be candid and direct, even when that approach might be controversial. They are scrappy, unafraid to jump in and handle tasks at all levels and they thrive in an environment void of bureaucracy and layers.
The day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to day to day management of the META publicity team, partnering with other cross-functional leaders across the business to formulate & implement business strategy, implementing global business messaging across the team's work, guiding (and sometimes directly handling) high-level conversations with global showrunners / producers with regard to our holistic META press strategy, hiring & structuring the publicity team across the region.
