Netflix's business in EMEA continues to grow rapidly and with that we continue to place a huge amount of effort in building out teams across multiple functions and EMEA markets to support this growth. The Netflix Talent Acquisition team partners closely with the business to define talent needs, build staffing strategies, and execute on identifying best in class talent for the business. At Netflix, Talent Acquisition is a core business function with a true seat at the table, and as a result we need strategic problem solvers to help us build the teams that will in turn build the world's best global internet TV service.
The EMEA Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst (MIA) to support our rapid pace of hiring. Working closely with Recruiters and Recruiting Researchers, the MIA will be an industry expert, providing in-depth market research, competitive analysis and overall industry insight to the TA team and the business. This is a new function within our team, so the role will be what you make it. You will get to figure out how to create maximum impact, and will play a huge role in defining what success looks like.
THE ROLE
A successful MIA will develop a deep understanding of our business, build intel and insight around key EMEA markets, provide relevant industry intelligence and build relationships with passive talent across the EMEA region. This role will partner both with the directly with the Talent Acquisition team and leaders across the business, with the goal of equipping both with better insights to expedite our recruitment efforts.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with the EMEA Talent Acquisition team in designing and implementing effective research strategies to map out talent movement and talent trends across multiple functions and industries;
• Partner with researchers, recruiters, and business groups to build and maintain current and future candidate pipelines;
• Conduct public research and collect data on competitors in the marketplace and create up-to-date organizational charts and talent maps;
• Conduct compensation benchmarking and compile concise compensation reports;
• Prepare and present relevant insights that may impact recruitment efforts in certain markets or industries;
• Be the eyes and ears to industry news;
• Collect, collate, and input data into our Applicant Tracking System (Lever)
• Support ad hoc projects like events or networking functions
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a proactive and critical thinker with a passion for research and entertainment. The successful candidate will have the ability to process and synthesize complex information effectively and communicate in a concise manner. We need someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, as this is a new function in our organization. The role will be what you make it. You will get to figure out how to create maximum impact, and will play a huge role in defining what success looks like.
REQUIREMENTS
• University degree is required.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is preferred, but you have to be passionate about and interested in TV and film entertainment at the least.
• The ability to make the leap from information to insight is key. To be successful you'll need to excel in not only gathering great data, but leveraging it to inform and influence decisions. We need you to connect the dots when others cannot, creating actionable research and networking projects based on real business problems.
• Desire to be in a role that is hands on as much as it is strategic, adding value at different levels. Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to move quickly and prioritize. You'll have multiple projects going at once, so it's crucial that you have the ability to think and work quickly, prioritize effectively and can pivot easily in the midst of frequent changes.
