Netflix is hiring a Social Media Manager to set and own our brand social strategy and develop our platform presences in the Nordics.
Looking after a small social media team and working closely with external agencies and our internal marketing, PR, content, product and consumer insights teams, this person will be a thought leader in creating culture as well as being fascinated by brand building, tech and entertainment. Fluent in the language of 140 (or 280) characters, the successful candidate is equally able to set social strategy, develop tone of voice, write a script, or fire off a well-timed social post.
First and foremost, this is a strategic role. We are not looking for community managers or someone to lead the department of doing cool stuff for no good reason. We need someone who can work creatively and strategically to identify the right platforms to speak to the right audiences - and help Netflix speak to them in the right way to grow earned media. Someone with a strong and well-informed point of view in critically analyzing the latest social media trends and tactics and knowing which we can harness to help grow earned media in the Nordics.

Key requirements:
• Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, other languages are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working in-house, at an agency or another company with a proven track record of generating earned word of mouth.
• Experience in building strategic editorial plans.
• Experience and expertise in at least one of the Nordic markets.
