Netflix is looking for a Pan Regional Manager for its original content in Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and surrounding markets. The Pan Regional Manager will be responsible for creating and executing the global strategy to promote our original series, films, documentaries and specials in Latin America. The team will also be tasked with taking risks that will have a large impact in the region and innovating in each of our campaigns. This Manager will work with market leads to help connect the right Global titles with the right country strategy/goal. They will work alongside the cross-functional teams to maintain our aligned regional objectives (ie business drivers, festivals, awards, talent relations, etc) in check.

THE ROLE
The Manager will help create, shape, execute and manage campaigns for series, films, documentaries, standups and specials making use of multiple earned media channels, including broadcast, print and online. They will play a critical role in communicating with filmmakers, talent and production company partners during production up to and beyond launch. They will focus on creating cultural moments in all of LATAM and high impact campaigns, explore new tactics of promoting series and films, and will be able to communicate different facets of their campaigns to executives, filmmakers, talent and talent representatives. They will pitch media, secure opportunities and cover set visits or help plan and work junkets. This person has also worked alongside agencies, or has managed agencies on projects. They can formulate and manage a budget, and give visibility into their process successfully.
The ideal candidate is able to make wise decisions, even when faced with ambiguity and thinks strategically. This person doesn't fall back on PR 101 tactics and is eager to put a new spin on what a series or film campaign can be. They are a good listener and a real doer, and is able to multi-task and work at a clip pace. They are not afraid to get their hands dirty - and that could mean jumping in to handle tasks that range from writing a strategy, writing a series announcement, booking travel or negotiating hair and make-up. They collaborate well with partners that range from content/programming to marketing to product and beyond. Strong candidates can handle a vast amount of work and they are eager to learn. They are curious and also contribute effectively outside of their speciality looking to elevate. They aren't timid about assessing their work when they are done to explore what they could have done differently or better. A good fit in the role has a candid and direct communication style. They are willing to admit to mistakes quickly and question values inconsistent with our values and Netflix culture. They understand that sometimes the job requires delivering bad news, and they're tactful in handling such issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate for Manager, Pan Regional will have at least 7 years of entertainment experience in an agency, studio, network or journalism setting. They have relationships with key media as well as the ability to build and maintain connections with key journalists and social media influencers. BA/BS required. Ability to speak/write in Spanish & English is essential. Portuguese is a plus.

The Manager, Pan Regional Publicity reports to the Manager, Pan Regional LATAM Publicity based in our Los Angeles office.
