The internal communications team at Netflix seeks to inspire employees, increase understanding of our business strategy, and support our culture of transparency . Today, we're looking to hire a creative self-starter to oversee editorial communications to our 10K employee base.
The role's focus will be on writing, editing and strategic management of our internal communications channels. Specific focus areas include, but are not limited to: writing and managing our company-wide newsletter, audio/video creation; producing internal style guides and templates; and revamping our company intranet.
This role will be based out of our Los Angeles office OR Los Gatos office and reports to the Director of Internal Communications.

• Great writer and a clear verbal communicator. Can organize, summarize, clarify and communicate ideas simply, succinctly and accurately.
• Pragmatic, organized and detail-oriented. Has a big capacity to both think and 'do'. Flourishes in a 'hands-on' role, adding value at different levels.
• Demonstrated ability to think innovatively - connecting the dots when others cannot. Able to make the leap from information to insight.
• Able to identify, nurture and help refine compelling creative ideas and concepts.
• Smart Minimalist. Knows that global communications can be made complex, and can navigate accordingly.
• Understands how to stay on message and ruthlessly prioritize to meet deadlines when necessary.
• Moves at a nice clip and enjoys having multiple projects going at once. Can change course, be scrappy and get things done within short time frames.
• An independent thinker who is able to express and support a point of view.
Qualifications:
• 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong writing and editing experience, or journalism (preferred).
• Knowledge of the entertainment and/or technology industries (preferred).

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $65,000 - $320,000.
