This position will be based in Los Angeles and be part of our Talent organization. The person will lead our team of Generalists who are responsible for a myriad of employee facing programs such as onboarding, leaves of absence and all employee support.
Job Responsibilities:
• You will lead a team of HR professionals to inspire collaboration and trust; ensuring they are both challenged and resourced to deliver an amazing employee experience.
• You will reimagine the employee experience from the point of onboarding to operational support to ensure we remove distractions for our employees so they remain productive and efficient.
• You will use employee and program data to inform decisions and apply critical thinking to the team's work.
• You will work cross functionally to help Netflix scale quickly and efficiently without relying on process and rules to achieve this goal.
• You will understand opportunities to deepen service offerings to other parts of the Talent org relating to Talent Acquisition and our HRBP's.
• You will ensure our HR technology landscape is intuitive for users to navigate the Netflix org and built to facilitate further scale.
• At Netflix, we do not get bogged down in process and compliance. We would rather focus on innovation and simplicity. That said, you will partner with Employment Legal to understand regulatory requirements to keep us in check.
To be successful you must have:
• Strong knowledge of HR Operations and evolving technologies - Workday knowledge is a must.
• Passion. As a people leader you will have the ability to build awesome global teams and inspire with confidence.
• A consulting mindset with the ability to balance business needs with risk.
• Vendor management expertise. Be successful at negotiating the best deals for Netflix while selecting the right external partners to allow our benefits program to scale. Once selected, lead the external partners as an true extension of your team.
• Ability to collaborate. You have the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams understanding there is not one single voice making decisions.
