Manager, Creative Marketing - Unscripted

From our new Hasan Minhaj talk show 'Patriot Act' to the Emmy Award-winning 'Queer Eye' reboot, our slate of Netflix Originals in the Unscripted programming genre is growing rapidly. Our challenge as a marketing team... How do we pierce through the clutter and create global marketing campaigns that generate earned media and drive viewing for our Unscripted titles? We're looking for a Creative Marketing Manager to help the team do just that.
The Manager will lead global marketing campaigns for a slate of Unscripted titles. Our candidate should be an experienced marketer with a proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing campaigns that drove earned media. Our candidate should have an instinct to problem solve, a curiosity about the broader Netflix business, and an inherent passion for all things television. In this role, you will be the creative director of multiple global marketing and social media campaigns for Unscripted series. We are looking for someone who:
• Has at least 10 years leading marketing or social media experience in entertainment, news, or other relevant fields
• Has a proven track record in creating strategic and impactful marketing campaigns that generate earned media and/or create a moment around something
• Has worked directly with talent and has the ability to read a room, lead a meeting, and eloquently but concisely communicate campaign beats and decisions to talent and cross-functional partners
• Is structured, organized and used to managing project timelines, budgets and deliverables
• Is a cross-functional team player who is able to engage, listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to execute campaigns seamlessly, and to see the cross-functional collaboration through launch
• Has a little bit of je ne sais quoi. Our team is diverse. With a mix of backgrounds including journalism, content creation, digital marketing, traditional marketing, PR, and even fashion, we're always looking for people that add to the broader team's skillset
Core Responsibilities:
• From kickoff meetings with talent to creating impactful marketing assets (trailers, key art, social content), the manager will act as the creative director for multiple Unscripted Netflix titles
• Liaise with multiple showrunners and high-level talent on a daily basis to communicate key campaign beats and decisions
• Work with cross-functional partners (publicity, content, brand editorial) to successfully execute campaign goals
• Craft strategy, positioning, and creative briefs for campaigns that will inspire internal and external partners
• Be the global leader for the campaign thinking beyond and socializing strategy and creative with global partners
• Think outside the box to produce meaningful campaigns that move the business and generate earned media moments. We're not asset creators… we're culture makers
