We are looking to bring on a Manager of Audience Development who will be a thought leader in creating culture and building fandoms around the Netflix brand through impactful strategies in the US. They must be a skilled analyst who cares deeply about developing compelling stories, gets excited about building new audiences, is data obsessed and thrives in an environment of change.
Our ideal candidate will be in the day-to-day trenches to offer data-based guidance to our editorial teams on how to adjust content strategies, improve shareability and reach of content, and generate growth strategies for increasing the reach of the Netflix brand across multiple platforms and audiences. This individual will be comfortable taking on the challenges of ever-changing social algorithms and confident in his or her ability to push audience growth through organic and paid strategies to hit ambitious targets.
The successful candidate for this position will likely have a minimum of seven years' experience working in media, at an agency or in-house. They must demonstrate both a desire and capacity to work in a newsroom-style environment that requires quick thinking, great calm and a good sense of humor. They must be impeccable with communication, willing to have a strong and well-informed point of view in critically analyzing the latest trends and tactics and how they might or might not work at Netflix.
