This role will be part of the Partner Marketing and Consumer Products Legal team, and will be the lead lawyer for technology, device, and promotional retail partnerships in the Americas and Australia/New Zealand, as well as lead support for the global partner marketing creative team. You will have broad responsibility to support the partner marketing teams from strategy to deal making to marketing execution. Among other things, you will negotiate a variety of partnership marketing agreements, develop forms and act as a strategic partner to the business as we move into new types of partnerships, and advise on marketing creative across partnerships, including content marketing and marketing of consumer products.

The successful candidate will have 10 years of broad-based entertainment marketing, advertising, and contract drafting and negotiation experience. This person will be an expert in US advertising and consumer protection laws, with knowledge and experience with Australia, Mexico, Brazil, or other Latin American advertising laws and practices, as well as with IP legal issues. Expertise in content marketing, rights and clearances, talent deals, guilds, credits, and contests and sweepstakes, as well as experience with brand partnerships, is strongly preferred. Also a plus: Spanish or Portuguese language skills, knowledge of laws regarding marketing to children. Experience in house at an entertainment company or an entertainment focused consumer products company is preferred.
