Netflix seeks an experienced business and legal affairs executive to handle a wide array of responsibilities related to the licensing, development, production, and distribution of Netflix original global and international comedy content. Comedians filming stand up specials to date have included Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Ali Wong and many other top comics.
The successful candidate will work with the company's original comedy team to handle all business and legal affairs matters related to the structuring, negotiating, and drafting of agreements necessary to license, develop and/or produce variety specials, stand-up comedy specials, sketch and other comedy related programming for the company's global and international original comedy initiatives. The successful candidate should be extremely comfortable counseling creative and business partners and making both business and legal decisions.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have at least eight (8) years of development, production and licensing experience in stand-up, sketch and variety programming, with direct experience negotiating and drafting all forms of production, talent, acquisition and licensing agreements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong production background (including international production experience) and vast experience dealing with talent, plus a broad understanding of television distribution (including digital distribution). Experience providing in-house support and managing outside counsel is strongly preferred. Fluency in a language other than English is desired but not required.
