Full Time Job
• In concert with Post Production Manager, serve as the primary post production contact across pre-production, production and post production to ensure partners successfully deliver films to Netflix within approved schedule and budget parameters across a target slate of 50 films per annum
• Assist Post Production Manager in the vetting of initial production and post production plans to ensure each production has the resources and an optimal plan to deliver content of the highest quality
• In coordination with Post Production Manager, communicate with Content Executives and keep them abreast of any post production related issues
• In coordination with Post Production Manager, champion evolving technologies and determine how to incorporate into production and post production workflows
• In collaboration with interdepartmental Netflix teams, develop and update physical production ''best practices'' and refine evolving independent film production and post production guidelines to deliver to filmmakers
• Work with cross-functional teams at Netflix to ensure that films are successfully delivered and positioned for success (Creative Executives, Production, Distribution, Product Creative, Marketing)
• Coordinate the onboarding process for production companies, freelance producers and production crews to the Netflix ecosystem, tools and resources
• Create, update and proactively maintain inward and outward-facing post production resources and documents
• Serve as a bridge between productions and internal Netflix teams to ensure both sides receive pertinent updates in a timely manner
Additional Duties:
• MediaSilo Dailies and Cuts onboarding, administration and support
• Post Asset Coordination for Netflix teams:
- Trailer & Pre-roll Teams (Temp/Final pic, temp/final DME, gfx pkg, etc)
- Trailer cut coordination with creative agency/Pixwel (finishing)
- Creative Services - early access hi-res final pic for artwork
- Locked Cut Assets for Ops/Localization, Enhanced Content/Tagging in CH
- PR & Marketing needs for agencies
• Origin Story - Post Calendar, Post Info, Personnel/Facility data aggregation
• Trailer progress tracking for marketing/creative/product
• Set Post and Dailies Workflow calls
• Coordinate internal/external screenings and creation/transfer of necessary assets
• Setup/attend DCP QC sessions for screenings/festivals/archival as needed
• Distribution of technical docs, guidelines & Idents to post teams
• Credit Document curation for Credit team on high touch titles
Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree
• Passion for independent film
• 5 years hands on experience in independent feature film or television post production
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment
• Familiar with the current trends and workflows, including 4K
• and HDR, as well as an eagerness to learn new technologies
• Access to long roster of high quality vendors and talent worldwide
• Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters
• Teamplayer who operates in a fast paced team oriented setting
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in:
