The Opportunity
The Netflix Master QC team is charged with defining, driving, and executing the quality standards for our Original content through a QC process designed with pixel perfection in mind. Coordinator, Master QC will partner with the team to ensure QC quality and also innovate on existing QC workflows. You will have direct impact on award-winning content that will be viewed by 125 million memberships in over 190 countries.
The Role
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, effective communicator and able to exercise good judgment and initiative.
The Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the creation of QC requests and selection of QC Vendors
• Monitoring vendor workload to ensure that they are within capacity
• Follow up on QC tickets and/or assign the appropriate team member
• Maintain QC dashboard and queue to ensure all data is accurate and up to date
• Develop innovative ways to streamline QC workflows
• Track progress of strategic initiatives
• Assist Specialist with projects logistics and business travel planning
Qualifications:
• 2 years of industry experience within a post-production company, QC service provider or home entertainment division of a studio or equivalent organization
• Have a thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio
• Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools and workflow
• Attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, analytical and multitasking skills
• Understanding of how to prioritize, while also remaining agile and able to pivot quickly
• Ability to handle high volume of tasks for multiple people simultaneously and manage competing priorities
• Strong desire to be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and shared learning
• Confident decision maker
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Mail
