The Opportunity
We are seeking a Data Analyst Coordinator to support the growing department of Studios Operations. The position will extract and evaluate data from various databases, international and domestic, to develop reports and analysis for Studio Operations and Physical Production. Additionally, the candidate will add technical expertise to Studio Operations with data mining and data cleansing, as well as, liaise with other departments to establish best-practices of data ingestion and data integrity.
Familiarity with physical production, production accounting and studio operations is a plus; with a key understanding of the vendors, terminology and technology that occupy the space. The candidate should not be deterred working from incomplete datasets, rather, understand that much of this role relates to data-forensics, on-site learning, and solving for these exact situations. As our department continues to grow the candidate will help identify the use-cases Studio Operations will explore going forward.
An ideal candidate will excel at problem solving, data related and otherwise, and autonomously execute long and short term assignments. They should bring a level of expertise to the role that empowers and trains other Studio Operations personnel in being more 'data-friendly' and experienced in navigating datasets and leveraging spreadsheets.
