The Consumer PR coordinator will be supporting a seasoned group of professionals helping formulate, execute, and sustain a global media strategy for Netflix in Brazil. The - Role
The Coordinator for Consumer PR - Brazil will play a key role in supporting the growing Consumer PR team in the country. Duties are varied, extensive and timely. We are looking for someone who wants to help innovate in the coordinator role and help us work better and faster. The work will include but is not limited to: facilitating interview requests from local media, assisting with local events from planning to execution, coordinating/ liaising with outside agencies to ensure timely execution of various campaign tactics such as managing Netflix's Media Center, content revision and creation; coordinating with outside vendors to track contracts and ensure timely payment; assisting with meeting schedules and facilitation including helping put together presentations or agendas; coordinating audiovisual needs; taking minutes of specific meeting; monitoring top press coverage on key titles; updating various documents and charts on the department's google drive; liaising with localization team and/or local agencies for translation of PR materials including press releases; media alerts and general messaging; other duties as assigned.

• A proactive and positive thinker and a contributor to the team.
• Knows Google Drive like the back of their hand.
• Able to function effectively as a part of a loosely coupled but highly-aligned team.
• A great communicator -- via email, by phone, in-person -- and a stellar writer in both
• English and Portuguese. Being fluent in both languages is a must.
• An intense lover and fan of television, film and pop culture.

Qualifications
The successful candidate for Coordinator will have 3-5 years of experience in a corporate or agency public relations setting. They will be a clear and concise communicator in a variety of media, and bilingual in English and Portuguese (Spanish a plus). BA/BS required. To succeed at Netflix, the candidate must also possess the following characteristics: Creative Demonstrated ability to think innovatively-connecting the dots when others cannot. Able to make the leap from information to insight. Able to identify, nurture and help refine compelling creative ideas and concepts.
Can organize, summarize, clarify and communicate ideas simply, succinctly and accurately. Has a quick intelligence, is fast on the feet and quickly responds to issues and questions. Says it like it is; not wrapped in political niceties. Pragmatic, - Organized - and Detailed. Has a big capacity to both think and 'do'. Flourishes in a 'hands on' role, adding value at different levels. Is strong on detail and highly organized.

The Consumer PR Coordinator - Brazil will report to the Brazil Consumer PR Director.
