We are looking for a staff/associate accountant to handle basic content accounting duties. This role will have a strong emphasis on organization and a high level of attention to detail. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, you are quick-thinking, adaptable to change, able to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time and are self-motivated. You must have the ability to work proactively, independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Netflix Content Accounting team as well as Business, Legal and Production Finance teams.
Responsibilities
• Audit Request coordination
• Manage various content accounting inquiries and analysis (e.g. Vendors inquires)
• Work cross functionally to process and coordinate various cash receipts and intercompany transactions and respective general ledger coding
• Maintenance of various content accounting systems
• Coordination of training and onboarding of new hires
• Administrative support
Qualifications
• Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years working in an accounting department (studio/production environment preferred)
• A solid understanding of accounting basics
• College degree in business is preferred
