We are building a consumer products division to create new avenues for global consumers to interact with Netflix's original programming. Our approach promotes title awareness while also enabling our IPs to become part of the zeitgeist for longer periods of time.
We are looking for a Brand Assurance Coordinator to support the Product Development Manager in managing the product approval workflow for all titles and categories, with the overall goal of ensuring that Netflix licensed product is of high quality, on-brand, and drives fan joy.
Essential Responsibilities:
Product Approval Workflow
• Track product submissions through each stage of development
• Compile and deliver creative assets for licensees
• Manage product samples including pre-pros, final samples, and allocations
• Assist Product Development Manager with providing feedback/approvals to licensees
• Think like a fan - understand the details of our content to ensure product is developed in-world and fan-first always
• Manage projects as needed, i.e. talent approvals, legal review, etc.
Category Management as assigned
• Work directly with licensees on product line planning and providing creative input
• Become the expert in assigned categories, staying on top of trends and being familiar with the industry and key licensees
• Assist in collaborating with key team members and stakeholders on securing internal alignment on product initiatives and strategy
Desired Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience within the licensing, consumer products, and/or entertainment (studio, agency, gaming) industry
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in product development for key licensed categories within entertainment
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to prioritize a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic mindset balancing left and right brain attributes
• A creative eye for consumer products
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially with communicating externally with licensees
• Passion for entertainment, pop culture and fandoms
• Strong fit with the values of Netflix Culture
