Marketing Production at Netflix is focused on establishing a global center-of-excellence for cross-functional project management, creative production and localization of our marketing campaigns.
To support a growing demand for internal promotional content creation, we are looking for an experienced Manager to build, manage and lead our physical production team.
This team will lead the production process for various promotional productions including: broadcast spots, social promo shoots, key-art/ box-art, EPK and PR shoots, and more. As the manager of this team, you will partner closely with Netflix creative marketing, brand and product leaders to understand the volume needs for our business, the caliber of talent we'll need to staff and facilities/crew requirements to expertly deliver on our productions. You will seek out existing programs, teams and facilities teams as a cross-functional partner, as well as building new relationships where the business needs.

The Role
Reporting to the Director, AV Production, you will join a team of content creators that are growing Netflix's internal production capabilities.
Responsibilities
include:
• Setting the North Star for our physical production practice, managing all promotional productions for Global Creative Marketing, Brand, Product, PR and Social teams.
• Hiring and leading 4 strong internal producers towards that North Star, creating a nimble, best-in-class production team.
• Analyze internal project pipeline, and identify appropriate team staffing levels, using a strategic staffing strategy to inform both full-time, contract and outsourcing needs.
• Escalation point for all assigned projects with the Netflix teams, outside vendors, unions, stages/studios, and talent management teams.
• Implementing informed workflows to boost visibility, alignment and communications between internal teams, vendors, and talent throughout the shoot lifecycle. Continuing to refine best practices as your team's scope evolves.
• Coordinating with Post Producer teams to ensure effective exchange of campaign information and asset deliverables prior to and after production wraps.
• Work with Production Legal to refine production documentation (including estimates, schedules, cue sheets, etc.) that aligns with business needs and industry best-practices..
• Work closely with engineering and infrastructure partners to drive the infrastructure and tooling roadmap to support your production and asset management needs.
• Build deep cross-functional relationships with internal content and post production teams to understand the existing infrastructure that could support your team.
Qualifications:
• 10 years of Producing experience at ad agencies, networks, or production companies.
• 4 years managing teams with direct reports
• Must have experience with large budget commercial productions as well as smaller budget and quick turnaround projects.
• Proficient in marketing campaign workflows, including understanding creative and production processes as they relate to marketing efforts.
• Fluent in Union and Guild rules (work hours, labor law, etc.) as well as a good general understanding of how the commercial and creative production industry works in a Non-Union environment.
• A large rolodex of production talent both inside and outside of LA.
• Experience on jobs with a high volume of deliverables for all major and social media channels.
• Proficient in Hot Budget or Point-Zero Budgeting software.
• Thorough understanding of the the entire production and post-production pipeline.
• Ability to approach each project with both a creative and production mindset.
