Marketing Operations at Netflix is focused on establishing a global operational center-of-excellence for cross-functional project management, creative production and localization of our marketing campaigns.
To support our continued global expansion, our Global Marketing AV Production team is looking for an experienced AV Post Production Manager. In this role, you would be responsible for optimizing AV tools and workflows and overseeing editorial and post resources. You have a creative approach to problem solving and pipeline development and understand the ins and outs of production timelines. You are a force of calm and good judgment as well as an adaptable person who revels in change.
The Role
• Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global AV Production, you will be responsible for driving efficiency and scale for the Netflix Marketing AV pipeline. Responsibilities include:
• Lead a team of AV Editors and other Post artists responsible for supporting our Marketing/PR/Social stakeholders with original creative, adaptations, localization and custom requests.
• Manage resourcing and scheduling within the department to ensure strong team utilization and highest-quality creative output on all projects.
• Develop and implement solutions for automation, improved asset quality and output scale for our increasing global needs. Partner with creative stakeholders throughout the company to ensure that the department is set-up to meet Netflix creative marketing needs at a high-level.
• Coach and mentor new Editors and Post artists to excel in the Netflix Culture.
• Troubleshoot production issues, create and share guidance on best-practices department-wide.
Qualifications
• 10 of AV experience in an entertainment studio, post-production house or creative agency.
• Expert knowledge of AV workflows and experience with tool development to drive efficiency.
• Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel, with diverse geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience in leading a large team of innovators and creative thinkers.
• Strong communicator with a high level of organizational skills.
• Strong rolodex of LA-based Post Production talent.
