Netflix is seeking an experienced, LA-based Administrative Assistant to support our Talent Acquisition Directors, and their growing teams.. The role will be responsible for handling a heavy volume of organizing meetings, managing calendars, coordinating travel, filing expenses, and managing other TA-related projects.
The successful candidate will be proactive, display critical thinking ability, be flexible, and able to effectively juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with an unwavering attention to detail at all times. A high level of organization and interest in working across multiple areas of our business is a must. We're looking for a candidate who is curious, demonstrates significant initiative, and inherently exercises good judgement.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage individual calendars for three Talent Acquisition Directors, identifying opportunities for optimal time management and effectiveness
• Coordinate Directors' travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally
• Process corresponding travel and expense reports
• Maintain team meeting calendar, including but not limited to, staff meetings, large cross-functional meetings, sourcing jams, offsites, and team-building events
• New TA team employee onboarding - Act as secondary POC (in addition to manager); assist with scheduling training activities; partner with Directors on workspace planning
• Act as the administrative TA POC for LA-based, cross-Talent meetings; coordinating schedules, managing conference room booking, managing communication to attendees, and circulating meeting agenda/pre-read information, as applicable
• Manage and circulate cross-TA team communications
• Provide administrative support for recruiting events
• Ad hoc report generation, including, but not limited to: 3 month new hire reports, executive new hire reports, and new hiring manager reports
Qualifications:
• 5 Years in an Assistant capacity; experience supporting multiple executives is ideal
• Prior administrative experience in recruiting, HR, learning & development or related field
• Experience in an entertainment or media environment is ideal, interest in entertainment is a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask
• Flexible, resourceful, with a bias to action and willingness to do what is needed to get great work done
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail; prior project management experience is a plus
• Familiarity and comfort level operating in a fast paced, team-oriented setting
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Prior work experience with Google (G Suite) enterprise applications; prior ATS and/or HRIS experience preferred; specifically, prior experience with Workday is a strong plus
• A natural inclination to work within a culture that is fast-paced, dynamic, and especially, autonomous
