PURPOSE:
To provide support for the day-to-day finance/accounting functions at E! and Style International
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of international budgets and forecasts
• Assist in month-end close processes and reporting
• Review contracts and ensure fulfillment of all financial terms
• Track expenses and assist in P.O. creation and follow-up
• Create ad-hoc reports
• Liaise with Corporate Finance on various projects
• Participate in the preparation of financial models and business plans
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Work with field offices to insure compliance with corporate reporting
• Evaluate and monitor actuals against projections and track budgetary goals, explaining any variances
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum 3 years experience in financial role (television finance experience a plus)
• SAP experience a must, Medea experience a plus
• Strong Excel skills essential
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to work on multiple projects with various deadlines with minimal supervision
• BA in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy critical
