Responsibilities
NBCUniversal is looking for a dynamic strategist to join its NBC Entertainment Marketing division. Reporting to the VP, Marketing Strategy, this person will support the Brand Strategy and Consumer Engagement team by building marketing strategies for shows within the NBC Entertainment program portfolio that drive awareness, intent, consumption and fandom. The Brand Strategy and Consumer Engagement team works cross-functionally across multiple disciplines outside of Marketing, including Research, Production, and Programming, and plays a critical role in establishing the foundation of all NBC Entertainment show marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
• Leverage consumer and program data and insights to set foundation for strategic direction
• Define and articulate target audiences, unique selling propositions, cultural/competitive context, and communications strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to foster data sharing and collaboration
• Work with agency teams to assist in the development of marketing strategy deliverables for upcoming shows and post-mortem analysis to assess performance
• Facilitate the development of cultural insights reports across various topics
• Maintain project tracking for multiple workstreams and deliverables to meet deadlines
• Manage logistics for internal meetings and strategy presentations
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of brand marketing and/or communications strategy experience, preferably with entertainment media brands on the client or agency side
•Excellent written, verbal, and visual (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) communication skills that can be directed at various departments and across multiple levels of management
• Must be willing to work in Los Angeles
