Responsibilities
NBCU Philadelphia (NBC10, T62, NBCSP) is seeking a high-performing individual that has effective communication, can develop pitch ideas, coordinate, write and execute presentations in a timely manner. The Integrated Marketing Specialist is responsible for building collateral materials and coordinating marketing departmental efforts. This employee understands marketing fundamentals and creative evaluation. Communication, writing, and presentation skills are essential. Computer skills are necessary, especially proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Photo shop and social media platforms.
There is daily interaction with local and national sales teams across NBC Sports, Telemundo62 and NBC10. This employee will coordinate with producers, graphic designers, digital planners and vendors to ensure all marketing assets are completed on time and meet brand and strategic objectives. Employee is well versed in using digital and social media as well as implementing sales marketing strategy for various platforms. There is some need to coordinate and execute some small and large events.
The Strategic Partnerships group is a small, high-impact team within NBCU Philadelphia Sales Group that drives strategy, business development, creative content, and presentations under the supervision of the Director of Strategic Partnerships, collaborating with cross functional account teams to build and develop strong organic growth for clients. The role requires a diverse skill set of creative thinking, organizational skills and problem solving.
The Integrated Marketing Specialist will work internally with a cross-functional account team including Sales, Marketing, and Ad Operations, and externally with clients and agencies, to coordinate the execution and successful fulfillment of campaigns.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Communicate, implement, and manage marketing campaigns for our sales efforts
Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and quality
Execute local, non-traditional marketing strategies and campaigns
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Knowledge of video production, graphic design, and social media
Work closely with the NBC Sports and Telemundo products to bring expertise to cross-sellers
Track the performance of advertising campaigns effectiveness
Must have a current driver's license
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sales, or related field
Minimum 2 years of traditional and/or digital media and marketing experience within a media company or agency
Desired Characteristics
Self-starter able to complete with minimal supervision
Exceptional competencies in PowerPoint, Word and Excel programs
Able to work various hours on short notice including weekends and evenings, as needed
