Full Time Job
Responsibilities
• Partner with VP to proactively identify new content opportunities for all areas of NBCU
• Cultivate and manage relationships with studios, independent production companies and IP holders worldwide
• Participate in all aspects of deal negotiations both licensing and revenue share.
• Assist in reading scripts and fielding pitches along with providing script coverage with recommendations
• Coordinate and work closely with partners of newly acquired content to ensure contractual obligations and timely deliverables are met
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, PR, Distribution, Finance, Legal, Operations
• Collaborate with VP on decision-making, setting KPIs and revenue objectives, and prioritizing initiatives and resource allocation
• Prepare analyses under tight timelines when needed by senior management
• Management of current deal status repository
• Along with coordinator, manage the rights entry workflow within the team, including entry into the rights management system.
• Ad hoc work as necessary
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of skills and training.
• 7 years of experience in content licensing, content sales and/or content strategy in the entertainment industry
• Script coverage experience
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Desired Characteristics
• Existing senior-level relationships with Major Studios, Rev Share Partners & Distributors across both domestic and international territories
• A deep knowledge of international programming
• Understanding of entertainment platforms (AVOD, SVOD, Linear, TVOD, FAST Channels etc)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, and demonstrated leadership skills.
• A “go with the flow†attitude and knowledge that the entertainment environment is in constant change
