Responsibilities
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Responsibilities
• Write original and insightful posts about key women's sports stories, from breaking news to athlete features to competition previews and recaps.
• Cover breaking news stories with quick, concise analysis.
• Provide insightful, factual, and thoughtful coverage on a variety of women's sports (Olympics, WNBA, NWSL, golf, tennis, etc.).
• Distribute content across a variety of platforms and alert social media team to any upcoming stories.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or related work experience, including internships
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience or related internships
• Experience writing fast, accurate, and insightful news stories for a digital audience
• Extensive knowledge of women's sports and the Olympics
• Experience publishing content, writing headlines, and cropping photos
• Availability during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and willingness to work a flexible schedule
