Responsibilities
Role Summary
As the Specialist, Knowledge Management, Corporate HR, you will be responsible for strategically managing and tactically executing knowledge management & transfer activities for NBCUniversal's global HR community. Additionally, you will have oversight of day-to-day training & communication efforts for HRConnection - NBCUniversal's HR Shared Services Team. Reporting to the Director, Corporate HR Projects, you will design, implement, and manage various knowledge management/transfer activities that support our global HR community's day-to-day awareness of and adherence to corporate policies, programs, and processes. You will be empowered to explore ways to continually improve the exchange of operational information between internal Subject Matter Experts and Field HR teams with the ultimate goal of creating an integrated approach to knowledge management.
The successful candidate will have advanced written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail including advanced document design abilities, and the ability to quickly ideate and produce consistent and compelling knowledge/support resources. The candidate will exercise excellent judgment, have a strong inclination toward collaboration, be able to think of creative/nonlinear solutions to challenges, and function in a highly confidential environment.
Responsibilities:
General
• Serve as a champion for consistent and transparent knowledge transfer efforts across the global HR community by partnering with and indirectly supporting internal Subject Matter Expert teams
• Serve as the primary knowledge management point of contact for internal Subject Matter Experts including those in Benefits, Compensation, Employment Law/Labor Relations, HR Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, & Talent Development
• Identify and share knowledge management best practices across the global HR community
• Maintain working knowledge of organizational and cross-departmental policies, programs, and processes that impact the HR community
• Provide consultation related to HR operations and policy to HR peers
HR Shared Services
• Ongoing maintenance and strategic enhancements of HRConnection's knowledge management database Zendesk
• Ongoing maintenance of HRConnection's knowledge activity digest – a daily summary of all knowledge additions, changes, etc.
• Attendance at HRConnection's daily Standup and weekly Staff meetings as needed
• Creation and coordination of continuing education activities for the team including Subject Matter Expert sessions
• Development and maintenance of all internal and external support/resource documents created by HRConnection including SOPs, How-To Guides, training decks, etc.
Corporate HR
• Support the Director, Corporate HR Projects with the communication and training of new/changed HR policies, programs, and processes
• Development and maintenance of all internal and external support/resources documents created as a result of Corporate HR projects including SOPs, How-To Guides, training decks, etc.
• Ongoing maintenance and strategic enhancements of tHRive Library – Corporate HR's knowledge management database
• Administer HR access to the tHRive Library database
• Serve as the IT liaison for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of tHRive University – Corporate HR's internal intranet
• Partner with the HR Program Management team to facilitate/manage monthly Inside tHRive All HR call
• Brainstorm and implement innovative ways to share knowledge with the HR community
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 years prior HR experience

• Proven experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including the production of technically advanced Microsoft PowerPoint projects
• Experience handling and maintaining the confidentiality of highly sensitive employee data
