Full Time Job
Responsibilities
• Facilitate and drive key HR initiatives across departments, including employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, succession planning, staffing, training and development, reward and recognition, organizational effectiveness and employee communication
• Drive employee engagement through the ongoing facilitation and planning of HR sponsored events (executive speaker series, charity events, other event initiatives)
• Consult and coach all levels of the organization to establish and maintain a positive work environment which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities
• Partner with the leadership team and provide HR guidance developing solutions to talent gaps, training needs, cost changes, organizational structures
• Manage the negotiation of executive employment contracts and work with compensation and Comcast to ensure consistency and alignment
• Communicate company policies, practices, and procedures to employees in a manner that is clear and engaging.
• Organize, create, assemble opportunities for employees to celebrate success and effort, to motivate and engage, and to recognize contributions
• Assist with company-wide reporting, diversity initiatives and employee resource groups.
• Work with leadership to build a career path for employees, identifying opportunities for training, new skill acquisition, and advancement
• Help to drive change within the organization, to include adoption of new workflows, staffing models, and organization structures
• Lead compliance efforts and training addressing legal issues such as EEO reporting
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management or related field a plus
• 7 years of relevant HR experience including employee relations, organizational development and/or compliance
• Ability to work in New York, NY
• Willingness to travel – up to 20%
