Responsibilities
DreamWorks Animation is looking for an organized, efficient and motivated individual to join the University Relations team as a Coordinator.
You'll work on handling recruitment coordination and programming support for our Intern/Trainee programs. This includes but is not limited to: interview scheduling and coordination, on-boarding, offering exceptional candidate experience, new hire orientation, employer branding, social media, event planning and more.
The Team:
The DreamWorks Animation University Relations team works with a wide range of schools/institutions across the country to identify up and coming talent who might have potential as a DreamWorks intern and/or trainee. We are a busy group supporting all diverse areas of our expanding business including DreamWorks Television and Feature.
This role is located at our beautiful campus in Glendale, CA and reports to the University Relations Representative.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Intern and Trainee Program through job posting, onsite/video interview scheduling, onboarding, event planning, scheduling university visits, etc.
• Provide candidates with a positive interview experience by communicating interview details to candidates (interview schedule, job description, detailed directions, parking instructions, etc.)
• Create and route interview schedules with resumes, portfolios and demo reels
• Assist in Intern and Trainee Program facilitation (intern events, orientations, final presentations, etc.).
• Organize campus visits to Colleges and Universities (working with schools directly to arrange all logistics for visits, arranging travel, managing influx of student portfolio submissions, and maintaining presentations and handouts, etc.).
• Support University Relations initiatives including but not limited to: planning, scheduling, and marketing of academic programs, professional and industry group events
• Create flyers and handouts for school visits, Intern events, etc.
• Curate content for social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn) in support of the Intern and Trainee Programs
• Create/update candidate records, track submissions and maintain our intern and trainee database
Qualifications
/Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in HR/Recruiting
• Proficiency with Google Apps (Calendar, Sheets, Drive)
• Ability and foresight to anticipate needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in event planning, scheduling and customer service
• Experience with communication among all levels and are areas within a business, as well as, external partners
• Team player who genuinely enjoys working with others
• Professional, well-organized, self-motivated
• Passion for entertainment and/or animation
Desired Characteristics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working in the animation industry
• Graphic design experience (i.e. creating flyers, invitations, etc.)
• Experience in fast-paced, high energy environments
• Experience with applicant tracking and/or candidate relationship management system
• Ability to travel to local colleges/universities during peak recruiting seasons
