NBCUniversal International Studios are offering a 12-month Production Operations Internship. This role is part of, and supported by the Annual NBCUniversal Internship programme.
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent course.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.

/Requirements
The role will be supporting the central team responsible for oversight of the International Studios slate of approximately 30 International Television Series per year.
These productions are made by seven fully or part owned TV Production Companies, including Working Title Television, Carnival Film & TV, Heyday Television, Matchbox Productions (Australia) & Monkey Kingdom.
The central team have oversight of these companies and provides them with Corporate, Production, Operational & Financial support.
Current TV Series for example include: ''The Last Kingdom'' (Netflix), ''Jamestown'' (Sky), ''Hanna'' (Amazon), ''The Long Song'' (BBC), ''Luminaries'' (BBC), ''Made in Chelsea'' (E4) & ''Real Housewives of Cheshire'' (ITVBe).
The role is ideal for someone with sharp organisational, administrative and financial skills, who may be looking at a career in Television Production Management or Production Accounting.
You will have the opportunity to observe International TV Studio executives, make valuable Administrative, Operational & Financial contributions to your department and build your knowledge of International Television Production from within a major US Studio.
This is an Administration role in the Central Corporate Production Operations team, in London. The position is based at the head offices of NBCUniversal International Studios in London. There will be opportunities to visit set and production companies throughout the year.
Our division oversees production from Australasia to North America. As well as assisting the production management and accounting team part of the role will be supporting people travelling and booking meetings and calls with co-workers in many different countries and time zones.
You will be working with and supporting the team of people surrounding the Vice President Production Finance & Operations & SVP of Production of International Studios. The work will be conducted in meetings, on the telephone and on computers, and using software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
The team you will be supporting, manages and oversees three roles:
1. TV Production – development, production, post production & delivery of TV shows
2. Production Operations - distribution of un-finished and finished programmes, production information including contracts and schedules, and corporate policies on Health & Safety etc.
3. Production Finance – Financing, Budgets, Cashflows & Banking.
• During the Development and Greenlight phases of televisions shows, we develop potential productions, process writers, casting directors and producer's payrolls, set-up companies, bank accounts, credit cards and reporting systems.
• During the Production period we support the production crews and they provide weekly reports to us.
• During the Post Production period we take delivery of the episodes and any paperwork required by ourselves or the Broadcasters.
About You:
• Have a passion for Broadcasting and Media (particularly an interest in TV) with a desire to develop a career in Production.
• Be Proactive and enthusiastic, with ability to work autonomously to deadlines, take initiative and keep calm under pressure
• Analytical with outstanding attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritise and manage workload
• Self-starter and fast learner, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a busy team
• Strong office administration and IT skills; confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
• Ability to work with confidential materials discreetly and responsibly.
• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills; confident in communication with senior management
• Willingness to learn and ''can-do'' attitude
• It is desirable if you can demonstrate Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivots)
• It is desirable if you any previous relevant work experience.
