Part Time Paid Internship
Responsibilities
Do you want to work for one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent qualification.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.
We strongly advise that you do not apply to more than 3 Internship roles to ensure that you are considered for the Internships that you are more interested in and your skills are aligned to.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Working closely with UK Scripted Development team, and will get first-hand experience in developing projects from inception to greenlight.
• Reading treatments, bibles, books and scripts
• Writing Coverage – providing summaries and feedback on material
• Researching and providing reports on specific topics of interests
• Assist in the creation and development of pitch bibles, scripts and sizzle reels
• Updating lists tracking writers, directors, and other key talent
• Researching films, TV and industry news
• Screening work – samples, shorts, films, theatre plays
• Joining development team discussions
• Taking notes in meetings
• Research up and coming talent
• Flag interesting articles, books
• Administrative support where needed
Essential Skills:
• A passion in scripted television and wants to learn how TV is made
• A self-starter who can work autonomously, but also understands they need to ask questions if/when they are stuck once they have already tried a few avenues first
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasker
• Entry level awareness of and interest in typical production cycle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Active consumer of TV/digital content with awareness of the TV landscape
• Creatively-orientated with a natural interest in content story telling
• Problem solving skills – coming up with ideas and solutions
• A collaborative team player
Education
and Qualifications:

Related production or media work experience is desirable e.g. independent production company, ad agency, media agency
