Part Time Paid Internship
Publicity & Promotions Intern (2 days per week)
Responsibilities
Hereyoucan contribute as a problem solver and innovator. Our Internship program will give you access to the best in the business and hands-on training. We are looking for Interns who are enthusiastic, creative and savvy.
This Internship will run from mid-March to mid-October, working two days per week.
Publicity:
• Distribution and logging of publicity materials as required.
• Sending out prize fulfillment packs, in-seasons passes, etc.
• Assisting with Premieres & preview screenings including guest lists, issue of invitations, managing registration desk at screenings.
• Attend screenings when needed to manage guest list and entry into the cinema.
• Assist with grassroots promotions in collaboration with publicists.
• Reconcile publicity & promotions cost tracker for all film projects upon release to assist publicists to close budget promptly.
General Administration:
• Perform administrative duties as required such as booking screenings, courier, mailing, etc.
• Maintaining the main database for marketing & exhibition and creating marketing/media/VIP mailing lists when required.
• Invoice / purchase order / contra tax invoice processing.
• Work together with other interns on assigned projects.
• Presentation of projects to the management team at the end of the internship.
• Any other duties dependent upon varying work requirements.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
Detail-oriented and organised, with exceptional prioritisation skills
Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Excellent communication and a great team player
Ready to learn and motivated by this exciting 'breaking news' industry
You must be currently studying at an Australian Territory education provider.
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
