Part Time Paid Internship
Responsibilities
Do you want to work for one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?
NBCUniversal International has a number of 12-month Operations internship positions. You will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions to your department and build your knowledge in order to pursue a career in Operations.
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent qualification.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.
To ensure that you are considered for the placement that best fits your interest and skillset, we recommend that you apply to no more than 3 placements.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Home Entertainment Operations:
• Main support for supply chain team across traditional, UCA & Zoom
• Manage Sky and Virgin Buy & Keep accounts
• Work with all external vendors for UCA business
• (BBC, Disney, Hasbro for example) for outstanding orders and ensure deliverable timelines are met
• Stock management including raising and chasing orders for Consumer Products accounts
• Manage product lifestyle
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment- Content Group:
• Support 2 x managers the entire UPHE Content Group operationally
• Super user of our secure online screening platforms
• Arrange department meetings
• Ensure Content Protection measures are adhered to
• Work on DVD/Blu-ray titles & checking discs ahead of manufacture
• Update schedules
• Maintain reports
• Watch our content
• Raise Purchase Orders
• Place work orders with vendors
• Possible admin/coordination role on in-house productions
New Media Operations:
• Assist with the day-to-day AVOD operations, including supervision of third party channel managers, for NBCU International and DreamWorks International YouTube channels, and other social video platforms
• Help clear content for AVOD monetisation via compliance and rights clearances
• Learn to navigate and pull reports as required from NBCU's internal database of rights, territories and availabilities
• Keep up-to-date titles, channels, policies, and labels within NBCU International YouTube AVOD documentation and databases
• Facilitate delivery of content for new or proposed channels, as well for any third-party partnership deals
• Review and quality assure content prior to going live on YouTube and Facebook
• Create or source additional AVOD reporting (ad hoc), as required
• Create and manage UGC campaigns to drive traffic to content on YouTube
• Be a 'digital expert' for all NBCU International and DreamWorks AVOD activities and deliveries across/to third party content platforms, for all types of content from clips to full length episodes
• Help grow NBCU and DreamWorks AVOD business internationally
• The candidate could be communicating with anyone from artists, talent and agents to licensors, producers and vendors

• Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Demonstrable understanding of the Home Entertainment industry, market & supply chain
• Interest in YouTube and Facebook
• Numerical skills (advantageous)
Education
& Qualifications:
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent qualification preferably in Film, FMCG Retail, Supply Chain, Distribution, Digital and Data Analytics.
