Responsibilities
Do you want to work for one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?
As an Intern, you will be supporting a fast-paced team to deliver requests for new projects and systems changes. Ensuring that all requests are being managed and responded to within acceptable timelines and reporting progress to the International Media Operations leadership teams and individual requestors.
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent course.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.

Qualifications
/Requirements
The Integration and Delivery team are responsible for successfully implementing new business opportunities or changes to existing services into the International Media Operations Unit. With responsibility across the Media Operations lifecycle from scheduling & playout to media ordering & fulfilment the team are experts at delivering new services across the end to end workflow. The breadth of the team's responsibility includes:
• Manage the receipt of new requests for new business opportunities or changes to systems and processes
• Ensure requests are logged and sufficient information is captured before presenting to Governance Boards for approval
• Maintain governance logs ensuring accurate data is maintained at all times
• Manage the request through its lifecycle, appointing different team members to provide responses and information where necessary
• Provide regular communication with the business requestors on progress and timelines in addition to regular summary reports to IMO Leadership team
• Set-up, co-ordinate and minute governance boards and routine meetings
• Provide support to the Infrastructure and Delivery teams with major projects by providing communication support, meeting management and minute taking.
• Ambassador for International Media Operations when liaising with the business units supported by IMO and vendors that supply services to NBCU
• Build relationships with internal teams as well as with stakeholders that may be more senior
• Ability to work with a range of contributors; management, project managers, developers and operations teams to gain information and details in a timely manner
• Building and maintaining data, analytics and reporting
• Improve the governance process and our communications with external stakeholders
Essential Skills:
• Independent eagerness to learn new things and develop new skills
• Confidence to ask questions and push for more details from requestors in advance of presentation to the board
• Capability to work independently and maintain high levels of accuracy
• Build an understanding of the businesses requests and ensure you can represent the challenges and impacts to the governance boards
• Customer Service ethos is essential with a real enthusiasm to learn about the NBCUniversal International business
• Ability to use a range of communication styles to report on progress of requests
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication, planning, attention to detail and time management skills
• Produce a high standard of well-presented documentation, maintaining templates and progress reports
• Proven ability to work to deadlines & prioritise requests
Desirable skills:
• Desktop skills – MS office, MS Visio, Tableau (or similar applications)
• Some knowledge of the international film/television industry, including a basic understanding of film and digital formats
• Proven experience or ability to demonstrate a keen interest in a television, broadcast or OTT environment
Education
/Qualifications:
Preferably studying a degree-level or equivalent course specifically in Media Studies
