Part Time Paid Internship

Do you want to work for one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?
NBCUniversal International is offering a number of 12-month Content Strategy internship positions within NBCUniversal International Distribution, Universal Media Studios and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE).
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent course.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.
To ensure that you are considered for the placement that best fits your interest and skillset, we recommend that you apply to no more than 3 placements.

Key Responsibilities
Content Distribution Strategy & New Business Initiatives
• Support CS team in developing and trialing new business models for distribution/windowing, working with internal stakeholders across NBCU business lines and 3rd parties distributor (sub licensing)
• Support CS Manager in growing non-traditional distribution of acquisition titles, in particular non-theatrical and festivals distribution.
Content Distribution & Lifecycle Management
• Manage UPHE Content Group trackers, slate decks, smart sheets
• Manage lifecycle calendar for drafting opportunities and support Manager/Director in projects management
• Liaise with marketing and operations teams worldwide to trouble shoot any issues with information flow
• Campaign & asset planning / creation: work closely with the marketing team to ensure assets are created and campaign plans are developed to support full life cycle of our products and all rights.
• Liaise with creative agencies to develop sales tools to support SVOD & TV exploitation in particular
• Design and implement new processes when necessary across NBCU business lines related to UPHE Content Group (e.g. MAGIC process with UPI).
Business Support & Insights
• Support CS team in providing regular title and market updates to broader UPHE Content group
• Provide regular analysis of title/genre performance by market and by format, working closely with Finance, New Media and TV teams
Innovation
• Support manager in innovation initiatives & be an active member of UPHE CG's innovation crew on behalf of CS team
• 'Hot House' event (3 days programme for UK Films students): lead on organisation / logistics & work with CS team in designing the sessions and roll out of programme
Essential Skills:
• Fluent English; additional languages may be useful
• Proven problem solver with strong analytical skills
• Clear thinker - ability to identify crucial issues/drivers early
• Strong interpersonal skills - ability to successfully communicate across wider NBCU organisation with senior stakeholders
• Ability to multitask with tight schedules
• Ability to thoroughly research independently
Education
& Qualifications:
To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent course.
Preferably studying Media or a Media related subject will be advantageous.
