Part Time Paid Internship

To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be studying or have no more than one year of experience post your graduating with a degree-level or equivalent course.
You must also be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the Internship.

Qualifications
/Requirements
Corporate Communications Intern:
• Assist department on all events including internal campaigns, Comms Networks, Staff Screenings, International Offsite Conference, Town Halls, Christmas Party
• Assist with project trackers, comms plan and success merits on various projects
• Liaise with social media owners across the company to gain visibility of divisional content and information being shared socially, under direction of Digital & Social Coordinator
• Assist Digital & Social Coordinator on social media photography, under direction of Director who will approve all content
• Promote all internal events on our social media platforms when applicable and appropriate, under direction of Digital & Social Coordinator and Director – all imagery and copy to be approved by Digital & Social Media Coordinator and Director
• Run internal Staff Screening events with support from Manager when needed
• Reinforce Employee Value Proposition by creatively integrating consistent US brand and messaging ('Here You Can') across global campaigns, working closely with Corporate Communications Coordinator
• Work closely with Communications Coordinator to run Spark rollout and content updates
• Support all team in creating POs for invoices and making sure agencies are vendor ready and set-up
• Support department on printed media and internal channels for major employee events
• Ensure all team information is kept-up-to-date including agendas, reports, presentations, planning documents
• Keep the Communications L-drive tidy and up-to-date, with support of all team
• Liaise with the Film, TV, Home Entertainment, News and Parks divisions to update the Comms Monthly Status Report
• Maintain and update channels chart and comms calendar
Studio Communications Intern:
• Provide support to the team in creating press materials e.g. press packs, visual assets, TX cards
• Assist with collating reports e.g. coverage from publicity campaigns and corporate news, internal comms updates
• Assist with internal and external events, including press launches, screenings, photo shoots, internal gatherings and summits
• Assist with the planning and managing of key industry events including Edinburgh TV Festival, Mipcom and Content London
• Be an effective first point of contact for other departments and external stakeholders as well as journalists
• Service the media with programme information and material including press releases and clips
• Collect and distribute preview/review material in various forms as needed
• Support the team on programme publicity campaigns as directed
• Researching and collating media lists
• Providing support in talent management, e.g. monitoring talent's social feeds and creating talent profiles
• Updating key internal documents e.g. bragging bible, fact sheets, award information/calendar
• Monitoring key industry developments, which might shape NBCUniversal International Studios' strategy and offerings
• Organise internal and external meetings for VP of Communications as well as travel and accommodation arrangements
• Maintain a wide interest in TV, keeping up with some of the key shows across the industry and different territories
Essential Skills:
• Fluent English essential; additional languages may be useful
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to prioritize and juggle numerous projects and deadlines in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Good eye for detail, design and copy checking skills
• Able to work with and maintain sensitive information
• Strong understanding of social media
Education
