Responsibilities
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level working closely with senior HR management in supporting GolfNow's golfer support call center. This position is also responsible for interfacing & problem solving with business partners in areas such as employee relations, staffing, HRIS, and benefits support.
Job Duties
• Partner with business managers to provide human resources solutions that encourage effective business decisions and builds employee engagement
• Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacation or redirect employees to appropriate contacts
• Process new hires, terminations and data changes utilizing SAP HRIS system
• Maintain electronic employee files as well as administration of eVerify for new employees
• Assist leaders in management of corrective action and performance management processes to address performance and policy issues and to drive performance in meeting business goals in partnership with senior HR management team
• Conduct exit interviews and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement
• Attend support center staff meetings to establish business knowledge and develop strong relationships with key leaders
• Assist in preparation of job descriptions for open positions, and post open jobs via Brassring
• Run/Generate monthly and ad hoc employee data reports in the system on an as needed basis
• Escalate issues/concerns as appropriate
• Partner with Golfer Care Team Managers, Supervisors, Coaches and Quality Assurance team to assess and determine training needs.
• Create and conduct training courses for skill and professional development.
• Design and maintain internal training materials within Knowledgebase, Litmos and Confluence.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• 2 years of experience in human resource generalist role including employee relations, performance management, L&D, and HR project management
• Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience
• Professional in Human Resources or Senior Professional in Human Resources certification preferred
