Responsibilities
Role Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing day-to-day support to 2 HR Directors (and VP, HR as needed) for the Core Universal Pictures Film client organizations. The responsibilities will include handling employee relations issues, responding to employee questions and concerns, supporting the annual talent management processes, coordinating learning and development opportunities, and providing all general HR support to the Core Film HR team throughout the various HR initiatives and lifecycles.
Responsibilities
• In partnership with the HR Directors, provide high-touch, proactive HR support in the areas of employee relations, compensation, staffing, organizational strategy, employee life cycle activities, and compliance with HR policies and procedures for represented and non-represented employees.
• Support in implementing talent strategies that are tailored to assigned client groups to address organizational effectiveness, retention and development needs.
• Provide resolution to employee and organizational issues in a proactive and sensitive manner.
• Work with the HR team to implement HR strategy, policy, or process improvements as needed.
• Collaborate closely with various teams (i.e. HR Operations, Learning & Development, Payroll, Compensation, Legal, Administration, Labor Relations, and Corporate HR) to execute above mentioned responsibilities.
• Serve as an ambassador of diversity and inclusion for assigned client groups and work to imbed within respective cultures.
• Assist in managing specific initiatives including focus group surveys, exit interviews, performance feedback training, and other special projects.
• Serve as subject matter expert on company policies and procedures and legal issues relating to employment and employees.
• Uses critical thinking, timely data, reports and analytics to drive HR strategy and day to day client management.

Basic Qualifications
• BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in generalist HR or other relevant roles with an emphasis on employee relations and client based work.
• Ability to support multiple HR partners and priorities simultaneously.

• Demonstrated ability to move seamlessly from administrative to strategic tasks.
• Advanced MS Office skills specifically in Excel (formulas, Vlookups, etc.), PowerPoint and Visio.

• 'Can-do' attitude and proactive, solutions-focused individual.
• Highly collaborative team player with other HR team members, employees, and managers.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous and uncertain environments.
• Working familiarity with SAP.
