Part Time Paid Internship
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities and projects may include (but are not limited to):
• The Stamford Media Center intern will work closely with the studio's Production Coordinator/Executive Assistant in all aspects of the daily operation and digital marketing of our State-of-the-Art production facility in Stamford, CT. The intern will get hands-on experience in production, digital marketing and facility operations.
• The intern's main responsibility will be assisting the Production Coordinator/Executive Assistant in the digital marketing of our production studio and all administrative duties associated with the office of the SVP of Programming and Development and the VP of Production/General Manager.
• The successful candidate should be someone with experience with all social media platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, After Effects etc.) and have a general knowledge of production and facility operations.
• A successful candidate is expected to work at least 2-4 days a week.
Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
• Need to be able to work on-site in Stamford, CT
Internships at NBCUniversal are paid and do not require course credit

Desired Characteristics
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut; working knowledge of social media platforms; strong creative writing skills; the ability to think outside the box.
• Previous internship experience or on-campus leadership
• Desired Backgrounds: Advertising, Communications, Computer Science, Design, Digital/New Media, Film/Television, Graphic Design, Marketing, Media Studies, Photography
