Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
The Director, Campus will be responsible for day to day operations, including staffing, recruiting, client relationships and programming for the NBCUniversal Internship Program. The Director will lead a bi-coastal team of 14 and provide corporate-wide direction on recruitment strategy and intern program management. 2,100 interns annually across NBCU brands and corporate divisions: NBC Sports, NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, Filmed Entertainment, Operations & Technology, Ad Sales, Cable Entertainment, SNL, Tonight Show, Olympics, etc. Spring, Summer & Fall Programs. This position reports to the Vice President, Talent, Early Career and will be responsible for helping to shape the early career experience across a diverse portfolio of exciting businesses.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the VP, Talent, Early Career to create recruitment strategy, outreach, and partnership plans for colleges, universities at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as diversity organizations
• Serve as primary liaison with Comcast's University Relations team and external industry / diversity organizations on campus strategy and outreach
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Early Career leaders to create and manage an early career CRM - creating and developing a pipeline of former interns for NBCU roles
• Partner with VP, Early Career to continue to evolve messaging, branding, social media and marketing materials that tell the story of the NBCU internship experience
• Continue to drive the level of exposure, professional growth and development that each intern in the NBCU portfolio experiences through partnerships with business stakeholders and innovative learning and development opportunities
• Manage specialized internship programs within our broader program such as Emma Bowen Foundation internship program and Campus Fellows program
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, or Organizational Development
• Minimum of 4 years leading a Campus Team
• Bachelor's degree
Desired Characteristics
Desired Characteristics:
• Candidate should have strong written and public speaking skills and a demonstrated record of public presentation
• Candidate should have previous people leadership experience
• Candidate should have previous team and project management experience
• Previously campus related recruiting experience is preferred
• Experience at a major media organization is preferred
• Experience with SAP and BrassRing systems is preferred
