Full Time Paid Internship
Responsibilities
We are hiring engineering and architecture students with a strong interest to work in themed entertainment to intern with our Creative and Technical Services departments. Internships are project-based that allows interns to add value to our organization. Our interns are integrated as part of the team and the program provides weekly intern events focusing on business knowledge, networking, and professional development. We are all about creating fun and inspiring experiences! The internship will last approximately 12 weeks.
Intern responsibilities vary by project. Types of internship included:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Architecture
• Project Management & Planning
• Industrial Engineering
• Interior Design or Theater Design
• Manufacturing
Qualifications
/Requirements
• In pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress. Recent graduates will NOT be considered.
• Current class standing of Sophomore or above
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa or sponsorship
• Must be able to work on-site in Universal City, CA
Desired Characteristics
• Current student pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, architecture or a related field
• Completion of at least one internship or work experience in your desired field
• Previous work experience in an office environment
• Strong interest in working in a theme park business
• Able to work independently and move a project forward to completion
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate
• Proficiency in (any or all) AutoCAD/Revit, Photoshop/Illustrator, SolidWorks
