Responsibilities
The DreamWorks Animation Television University Relations Program works with a wide range of schools to identify up and coming talent who might have potential as a DreamWorks employee, intern and/or trainee. Open positions vary from year to year, but include the diverse areas of our expanding business. Our ideal University Relations Coordinator candidate is outgoing, diligent and an effective communicator. The focus of this role will be on University Relations and Recruitment Coordination and Intern Program support.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Intern and Trainee Program hiring (job posting, interview scheduling and candidate progress/follow up)
• Support for Dreamworks TV University Relations initiatives including but not limited to: planning, scheduling, and marketing/PR of academic programs, professional and industry group events
• Organize University Relations campus visits to Colleges and Universities (arranging travel, maintaining presentations and handouts and working with schools directly to arrange all logistics for visits, etc.)
• Schedule interviews both on campus and off-site as requested:
• Create and route interview schedules with resumes, portfolios and demo reels
• Provide candidates with a positive interview experience, including: communicating interview details to candidate, making certain they have all of the information necessary to be prepared for their interview (interview schedule, job description, detailed directions, information about the logistics of the interviews, etc.)
• Create/update candidate records, track submissions and maintain our intern and trainee database
• Maintenance of onboarding tasks, intern and trainee database reports
• Assist Creative Talent Management team in Intern and Trainee Program facilitation (events, training, presentations, etc.)
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 1 year of relative experience in recruiting or university relations

• Experience in event planning, scheduling and customer service
• Experience working in the animation industry
• Professional, well-organized, self-motivated
• Experience with communication among all levels are areas within a business, as well as, external partners
• Experience in fast-paced, high energy environments.
• Experience with applicant tracking and/or candidate relationship management system
• Ability to travel during peak recruiting seasons
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Is a team player, who genuinely enjoys working with others
