Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing a broad range of administrative and generalist support for a client base of Scripted Content, Cable Studios & Business Affairs. This position is also responsible for interfacing & problem solving with a number of business partners including: Staffing, Finance, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, HRIS & Corporate. This position will report to the Director, HR.
Responsibilities
• Prepare job requisitions for open positions & process posting requests: new position workflow, job flow & coordinate jobs postings with staffing
• Process new hire and personnel actions for SAP data changes, promotions, timekeeper actions , termination paperwork, organizational changes, etc. through required work flow process
• Communicate with Staffing, Finance, Operations & Administration on the status of new hires
• Manage on boarding and off boarding for all staff and temp talent
• Ensure all exit paperwork is in order and payments scheduled when off boarding employees
• Prepare severance estimates, complete separation agreements & coordinate all final payroll payments
• Serve as primary user for all HR systems: SAP, Business Warehouse reporting, Brassring, e-I9, etc.
• Act as the primary liaison with several HR departments including Payroll and Benefits, in order to manage and resolve issues
• Assist in program rollouts such as Performance Management, Compensation planning and Benefits Open Enrollment
• Plan logistics for employee Learning & Development initiatives, trainings, roundtables, etc. including room reservations and technology set-up
• Provide administrative HR support, including delivering trainings to employees, preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hoc reports, and maintaining department headcount, temp and staffing reports, etc.
• Respond to routine HR questions concerning benefits, payroll, vacation, etc.
• Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures
• Attend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as required
• Responsible for working with temp agencies in the recruitment and onboarding of temps with fast-paced turnaround times
• Partner with business intern supervisors in managing placement of interns on a semester basis
• Create an environment of positive employee relations, keeps confidentiality, establishes trust and credibility, seen by employees as approachable and fair, balances business needs with employee needs, and spends significant time interfacing directly with employees/client base.
• Provide support to HR Director and HR Manager
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of office experience
