Summary:
Universal Brand Development is seeking a creative-minded, project-oriented Coordinator, Digital Media Licensing, to join our team and assist the Director, Digital Media Business Development and Licensing across a variety of initiatives and partnerships. These initiatives include working with existing digital media licensing partners on daily operations including content review & clearance, content publishing on social video platforms, vetting potential advertising and traditional licensing opportunities, as well as project-manage advertising licensing campaigns. This role will also assist with regular and ad-hoc operational tasks including evaluating opportunities, creative content review, obtaining approvals from internal stakeholders, assisting with analytics and research projects, and preparing presentations for executive leadership.
This group is responsible for leading Universal Brand Development's worldwide digital media licensing and audience development initiatives, overseeing partnerships across digital media, traditional broadcast media, and advertising media as well as digital personalization and digital collectibles platforms. The team negotiates, executes, and manages licensing partnerships with domestic and international partners to make short-form content, clips, still images, characters, and other elements from NBCUniversal's theatrical, franchise, and catalog film & TV properties available to audiences worldwide in all forms of digital and traditional media.
Position can be based in NYC or LA.
Responsibilities
include:
• Support the Digital Media Business Development team and assist in managing daily operations with current and potential partners in the digital video, advertising media licensing, and traditional licensing categories
• Review and approve content for use by licensing partners on digital/social video and other ad-supported or subscription-based platforms
• Support advertising licensing business by helping to vet potential inbound opportunities, review creative strategies and briefs and provide initial feedback, route opportunities for internal approval
• Collaborate with internal Franchise Strategy and Brand Marketing teams, as well as other stakeholders such as Finance and Legal, to execute creative review and approval processes and provide status updates on existing deals and partnerships
• Assist with content publishing efforts across digital video platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Snap, and TikTok
• Prioritize and track partner deliverables, manage project timelines, deadlines, requests, and assist with financial reporting
• Assist with special projects as needed, such as creating decks, one-sheets, post-campaign recaps, reporting, and cloud-based asset & file management

• 1-3 years' experience in business operations, content licensing, digital strategy, digital advertising, and/or business development
• Basic working knowledge of content monetization models
• Experience with content publishing and/or social media management on any of these platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snap, Twitter
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's Degree required

• Experience at an ad agency (media, creative, or social) or technology platform a plus but not required
