Responsibilities
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Associate Producer to play an integral role in helping shape, grow and execute our social content strategy on Fandango/Vudu social platforms, as well as to provide support to the social media team of producers on posting, social listening and content creation.
The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful, flexible, collaborative, has a love of movies, enjoys taking initiative and has excellent writing and organizational skills.
In addition, this individual should have an interest in learning about social media, creating and promoting content across social platforms and the ability to translate audience insights into actionable content plans.
Experience working with video is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Create and execute social media strategy for the Fandango/Vudu platforms, with a focus on increasing consumer engagement (followers, likes, comments, shares, views, etc.) and ensuring our content is a daily habit in our fan's newsfeeds.
• Daily content creation: Across platforms
• Social Listening. Actively listen and manage the platforms social presence by monitoring consumer posts and responding to them as necessary, in our brand voice.
• Track, measure and analyze performance of content and campaigns. Provide timely communications of feedback to internal teams.
• Identify industry trends and insights that will help refine our strategy to grow our audience. Conduct on-going competitive analyses.
• Social Team Support: Help support social team members in calendarizing content priorities, initiatives and posting support as needed.
• Studio partnerships. Develop and execute social campaigns for studio partners, and internal marketing initiatives. Relay data back to teams to help drive future relationships. Attend marketing fan events, red carpets and production shoots to drive social brand awareness.
• Coordinate with customer service. Develop a unified voice and response system for social media.
• Video Production: Work with video team to create content that engages our fans to increase followers, supports marketing initiatives, and/or will be sellable for ad-sales marketing.
• Ad-Sales Marketing: Brainstorm creative social solutions customized to client's need and communicate with post-sales team to execute sold campaigns.
Qualifications
/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in media or equivalent experience
Two plus years of social media or related experience
Two plus years with Producing content for social media
Two years in Copywriting
Knowledge of creating creative campaigns, as well as branded campaigns
Expert understanding of social media, film and entertainment trends and platform best practices.
Excellent writing skills that are concise, yet impactful in evolving brand voice.
Editing Skills (photo, video, text), experience using Photoshop, and Final Cut X (or equivalent video editing program) a plus
Possesses the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with precise attention to detail.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends during key times of year (Awards, Super Bowl, Comic-Con, etc.)
