Administrative Assistant, Intellectual Property
Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the SVP and team in the Corporate Intellectual Property Department.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate departmental workflow and provide administrative support in a high volume intellectual property department
• Administrative duties include phones, scheduling, filing, billing, and data entry
• Coordinate department billing, partnering with Accounting as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with executives and assistants throughout the company; demonstrate flexibility, patience and persistence in routinely scheduling meetings, calls and appointments
• Prepare expense reports, and keep accurate and timely expense account records
• Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) and manage unexpected changes
• Compose, edit and proofread correspondence, reports, memos, presentations, spreadsheets and other documents
• Coordinate intradepartmental meetings and events
• Collaborate and spearhead special projects, as needed
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
•Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative support role
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
•Bachelor's Degree preferred
