Responsibilities
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 24 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Role Purpose:
The DFS Content Creator will be responsible for providing original content pertaining to multiple sports and across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Help formulate the DFS content plan with the Director of Content and Sport Managers across multiple sports
• Write original DFS strategy articles across multiple sports
• Write original and insightful player news post “slants†on the key DFS news and events of the day
• Provide analysis for DFS video, both for live streams and video on demand.
• Be available for appearances on the NBC Sports EDGE podcasts and shows
• Work with product team and developers to keep enhancing our DFS premium products
• Be available for regularly scheduled live Q&As, Instagram stories, etc.
• Maintain an active social media presence, promoting the relevant content you create and the content of the other writers on the team
• Help identify other potential DFS contributors for the NBC Sports EDGE team
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum four (4) years' experience in editorial environments
• Minimum three (3) years' digital experience related to DFS content creation
Additional Qualifications
• Extensive analytics expertise and experience
• Understanding of social tools available on the web and how they can be applied to content
• Particular understanding and use of Twitter
