Responsibilities
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited-term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Overview: This position will assist in all content and operational aspects of Golf Channel's Programming and Partnerships team (ex. College Golf, Made-For-Television, etc.) consistent with the overall strategic plan. The candidate must possess a variety of competencies including project management, event operations, meticulous follow-through and comprehensive organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
• Project manage Programming and Partnership's efforts with ability to integrate across organization including collaboration with internal partners in Event Operations, Programming, Production, Communications, Marketing and Sales.
• Manage timelines including events, sponsorships, marketing, communication, event operations, player/team relations
• Collaborate with Partnership Initiatives team to build sponsor decks and presentations
• Projects to include:
• College Golf Social Media Research:
• Top 25 School Handles/Men's and Women's
• Master College Tournament Schedule:
• 2022 â€'' 2025/ Big events / Amateur schedule
• Business Development:
• Research and identify potential partner opportunities and prioritize current college/owed events
• Other MFTV Event Proposals and other College Golf Event Proposals
Event Operations:
• Primary liaison with host, venue, and/or operations management company for televised collegiate events.
• Manage event team (ex. staff, contractors, vendors) and facilitate first-class on-the-ground execution of events and cultivate a sense of accountability
• Athlete/Team Relations â€''contact with athletes on the operations of the event
• Coordinate internal Golf Channel departments and outside vendor discussions and facilitate meetings to create open communication between all parties
University Point of Contact Throughout College Golf Season:
• Throughout the college golf season, this person will work with the various universities to secure the following for each televised tournament: School Vector Logos, Headshots, Student-Athlete Bios, Inventory/Institutional Spots, Haskins/ANNIKA Awards details and updates, PGA TOUR University Weekly Rankings
• In addition, this job will require the coordination of school feature assets including
• 2x Features per day
• Social Media Partnership
• Interface with marketing, sales, social media, PR and other key stakeholders leading up to and during each event
Production:
• Work with Programming and Partnerships team on production needs including social, digital and other platforms
• Work with creative services, marketing, social and other NBCS departments to develop support materials such as sizzle reels, video recaps, sponsorship analysis and valuation of current event partnerships, etc.

• Proven experience in project management
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially with media companies
• Entrepreneurial spirit to help build and develop Golf Channel priorities
• Excellent organizational and management skills
• Excellent communication skills
Additional Job Requirements
• Willingness to work overtime and must be able to work weekends and Holidays
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, Connecticut
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
