Responsibilities :
Role Summary:
Judge Jerry is a syndicated court show that features Judge Jerry Springer and will premiere Fall 2019.
Seeking a Show PA to assist with all aspects of the show's production. This is a Run of Show position that will run until July 2019.
*Work with guests who will appear on the show while they are in town for taping
*Involvement in all show day procedures, assisting producing and production teams in all stages of production.
*Work with Script Department and Directing Team to make sure all show elements have been requested and planned for.
*Book guests to appear on the show
*Pitch Show ideas and potential show topics or guests to Team Associate Producers and Segment Producers.
Qualifications/Requirements :
Basic Qualifications:
*Minimum 6 months TV experience with a talk show, news or court program, or other relevant experience (including internships), preferred
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the internet
*Bachelor's degree, preferred
Eligibility Requirements:
*Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
*Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
*Must be 18 years or older.
*Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
Desired Characteristics :
*Experience with daytime talk shows a plus
*Minimum 1 +years TV Production experience (including internships) preferred
*Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience booking guests for television
*Detail oriented
*Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
*Superior organizational skills
