Role Summary:
Judge Jerry is a syndicated court show that features Judge Jerry Springer and will premiere Fall 2019.
Judge Jerry is seeking a Producer to assist with all aspects of the show's booking of guests and production of segments. This is a Run of Show position that will run until July 2019.
• Book, Write and Produce segments for daytime court show under tight deadlines
• Pitch cases to Producers and Senior Staff
• Work with guests who will appear on the show while they are in town
• Work with Executive Producer, communicating daily development of segments
• Lead team of Associate Producer and Production Assistant
• Involvement in all show day procedures including but not limited to proofreading briefs/case write ups, maintaining evidence, requesting show elements from wardrobe, graphics and Post Production
• Liaise with Production to make sure all expenditures are accounted for.
Qualifications/Requirements :
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 1+ years professional TV experience with a talk show, news or court program or other relevant entertainment experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the internet
• Bachelor's degree, preferred
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
Desired Characteristics :
• Experience with court tv shows and / or Daytime talk
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in TV Production (including internships) preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience booking guests for television
• Strong research skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
• Superior organizational skills
