Business Affairs Manager
Naudio, LLC - Denver, CO
Business Affairs Manager will manage a variety of business administration and licensing matters as part of Naudio, LLC which encompasses, Vrain Street Music (music licensing & publishing), and Rocky Mountain Recorders (recording studio).
The Manager will oversee day to day business operations including: scheduling, accounting, contract negotiations, administrative duties, etc. You will work closely with the in-house production team and external clients to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of recording, film & tv production, music business, and up to date with current music trends. This role would best suit someone who excels at providing concierge level service, a person focused on detail, ability to solve problems under pressure, and handle themselves with grace.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage studio scheduling and generate estimates
Keep production on schedule
Coordinate music searches for use in trailers, TV shows, films and ad campaigns
Drafting and limited negotiation of music licenses, renewals, and artist agreements
Aggregation and filing of licensing and publishing paperwork
Build relationships with the music sync community and music supervisors
Manage copyright and publishing portfolio
Schedule staff meetings and set agenda
Market studio to new clients
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience at a creative media company
Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally with a major in business
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Quickbooks, G-Suite, FileMaker Pro
Knowledge in principles of music business, copyright law and/or related fields
Ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment
Some recording knowledge is a plus
Self-motivated
Detail oriented, timely and accurate
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
