The Opportunity
We are seeking a Screenings Research Administrator who will provide on-site support for screenings for motion picture studios and other clients.
The Role
-Provide positive customer service for our clients and our audience for the entire screening process from start to finish.
-Utilize various clerical and computer skills to tabulate accurate attendance and questionnaire data.
-Able to perform light physical activities including moving of equipment (office supplies, line management).
-Perform different job assignments well at each screening, including but not limited to checking in the audience, managing the invite collection, handling demographic balancing, directing traffic, prepping the theater and directing audience and clients to their seats.
-Research administration (bundling surveys for post-screening distribution).
-Assist with distribution, collection, and sorting audience surveys (both paper and electronic).
-Comfortable around computers, scanners and tablets, including setting them up, troubleshooting and packing up technology with care.
-Accurate counting and tabulation of audience members, theatre seats, audience surveys and more.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, comfort in learning new software.

-Team player who is able to work collaboratively in a variety of functions, executing duties in accordance with training manuals.
-Strong customer service skills, with demonstrated ability to interact with large crowds in a courteous and professional manner and with minimal direct oversight.
-Successful management of time and multiple competing priorities in order to ensure deadlines are met.
-Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
-Must be able to stand and work on your feet for at least 90 minutes.
-Ability to multi task several times during work hours.
-Remain calm under pressure.
-Must be able to maintain screening information confidentially.
-Upholding the NRG's core values of excellence, innovation, collaboration, enthusiasm, and grit.
Ideal Candidate
-1+ years of relevant experience working in customer service.
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Some computer experience.
-Strong interest in motion pictures and the entertainment industry is a requirement.
Position Type
This is a part-time, hourly position. Hours of work and days vary weekly, but will require evening and weekend work. A weekly scheduling survey returned via e-mail is required. After being trained on key job positions, you will perform a different staff assignment in coordination with the event team at each screening.
Work Environment
This job operates in movie theaters and screening rooms for recruited audience screenings. Screenings are held from Ventura to Orange County including San Fernando and San Gabriel Valley. Must have reliable transportation. No out of town travel is required.
Dress Code
Professional attire is required.
-Dark (black or dark blue) pants and provided Uniform shirt / jacket.
-Pants, skirts, and dresses must be business-like in appearance, clean, and wrinkle free
-Name badge provided.
-Comfortable shoes that will allow you to stand for 2-3 hours.
-No denim clothes (pants, skirts, etc.).
-No revealing clothing (i.e. mini skirts above mid-thigh, high slits, spaghetti straps, etc.).
-No baggy clothing.
-No flip-flops.
